Our Leadership Team

William I. Thomas, AAI, Chairman ~ Bill Thomas founded the agency in 1964. Well-respected in the industry, Bill has received several industry awards and is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Maryland. He has taught for the Insurance Institute of America, and he has also served as an advisor to the Insurance Commissioner of Maryland and several other national insurance companies.

Suzanne D. Sloan, AAI, CISR, President/CEO ~ With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Suzanne has been with Crawley & Thomas since 1983. In addition to managing agency operation and a staff of 10, Suzanne is a valuable resource to our personal lines clients. In 1988, Suzanne received her AAI designation from the Insurance Institute of America. In 1991 she received her CISR designation from the Professional Insurance Agents of America. She is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. Currently, Suzanne sits on the State of Maryland Legislative Committee for Maryland Insurance Agents.

Carlos Cremata, Producer ~ Carlos has been an insurance executive since 1976. He began his association with Crawley & Thomas in 1981, specializing in casualty insurance. Carlos is a graduate of the School of Foreign Trade in Havana, Cuba. He is a member of the Prince George’s Life Underwriters Association, IBERO American Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland, and the Million-Dollar Round Table.
