BORN: APRIL 1, 1928, STARACHOWICE, POLAND -†Henry Greenbaum was born Chuna Grynbaum in Starachowice, Poland, on April 1, 1928. His father, Nuchem, ran a tailor shop out of their home while his mother, Gittel, raised the family’s nine children. †
Mr. Greenbaum appeared on Sunday, August 16, 2015 as an honored guest at a World War II living history event at the beautiful Rose Hill Monor estate in Frederick, Maryland. Watch the video above and you will be amazed at the detail of his memories of some of the most difficult circumstances humans have ever experienced.
